THE boys from Cumnock Rugby Club certainly enjoyed the Olympics.

The young lads from the local team got together to cheer, shout, scream and roar on the Team GB heroes from almost 6,000 miles away.

Whilst local rugby star Mark Bennett was battling it out with the best that the rugby sevens world has to offer, young aspiring rugby stars gathered at Cumnock Rugby Club to watch on TV.

The Chronicle was on hand to capture brilliant footage of the youngsters losing the plot as the full time whistle sounded in Team GB's semi final win over South Africa.

The video clip shows the young rugby aces anxiously awaiting the referees whistle and then erupt with joy as Mark Bennett's side sealed their spot in the final.

The youngsters highjacked one side of the clubhouse bar, relegating the adults to the opposite end as they cheered on the team.
