A TOP Scottish DJ featured as part of a weekend of events in aid of a young girl from Mauchline who is bravely battling cancer.
Ava Bolton was diagnosed earlier this year with a stage 4 hgih risk neuroblastoma.
Her family are aiming to raise £250,000 to take their daughter for a new vaccination treatment in New York, once her current 18-month treatment cycle is complete.

Ever since Ava's mum, Natalie and dad, Scott announced the news about their daughter, and their plan to get her to America for specialist treatment, people in East Ayrshire and far beyond have stepped up to help.
This weekend was no different, as George Bowie performed in Cumnock as part of a weekend of events that also saw a fun day held near Drongan.
The DJ - now perhaps best known for his GBX mixes at clubs across the west of Scotland and on radio - took to the stage at the Dumfries Arms Hotel in Cumnock on Saturday, July 22.
The night saw countless prizes raffled off to raise funds for Ava, including a signed Rangers jersey and a top signed by Scotland international Billy Gilmour - a familiar face at Glenafton Athletic training sessions during English football's close season.
A generous £1,000 donation was made to Ava on behalf of the Dumfries Arms Hotel.
A member of Ava's family said: "We would like to give a special thanks to the family and staff of the Dumfries Arms Hotel for all your support, from the £1,000 donation, helping set up our kids fun day back in May and for organising last nights event.
"We couldn't have done these events without your support and we are so grateful for everything".
Elsewhere, Hannahston Alpacas in Drongan also hosted a fabulous fun day to support Ava's cause.
The great day included Alpaca walking, bouncy castle, face painting, hair braiding and much more.
At the moment, Ava's fund-raising total stands at just under £190,000, with plenty of events still to come.
The latest update on Ava was that she was experiencing side effects of her latest dose of treatment, but that the family are hopefully of moe positive signs in the next week or so.
