VINTAGE trucks of all shapes and sizes will take to the streets of Cumnock this summer as they set off on their annual road run around Ayrshire.

Heading off from Cumnock this July, the convoy will wow vintage vehicle fans as they travel through Ayrshire and beyond.

On Saturday, July 13, the vintage vehicles will be on display at the Barony Campus car park on Ayr Road from 8.30am until 12pm.

From there, they will head towards Portpatrick, where they aim to arrive for around 4pm before spending the evening.

The convoy will pass through Ochiltree (12.05pm), Sinclairston (12.10pm), Hayhill (12.15pm), Littlemill (12.20pm), Plnessan (12.30pm) and Patna (12.35pm), before continuing on into South Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway via Kirkmichael, Straiton, Dailly, Pinmore, Pinwherry, Colmonell, Ballantrae and Cairnryan.

The following day the vehicles taking part will set off via Dunragit, Newton Stewart, New Galloway, St John’s Town of Dalry, Moniaive, Penpont, and Thornhill, passing through Sanquhar at 1.20pm and enjoying a final farewell at the Crawick Multiverse at 1.30pm.

Keen punters have lined the streets over the past few years to take in some of the sights and sounds of the classic vehicles.

Fantastic sights and sounds as the Ayrshire Commercial Vintage Vehicle Club's road run heads off from the Barony Campus. Which one was your favourite? Video by Charlie Gilmour - more pics from Charlie in the Chronicle on Wednesday!
