AUCHINLECK Talbot have been handed a home tie in the first round of the senior Scottish Cup if they can get past Beith on Saturday.

Tommy Sloan's side or Beith will host Strathspey Thistle in the next round.

Talbot were still in Monday's draw after sealing a late equaliser agaisnt Beith at Bellsdale Park on Saturday.

The pair will meet in the replay at beechwood on Saturday with the winners advancing to host the Highland League outfit in the next round.

Strathspey face a 188 mile trek if Talbot can see of Beith.

Elsewhere, Ayrshire side, Girvan were drawn at home to Huntly. Linlithgow Rose were paired with Selkirk and Dalbeattie Star take on Wick Academy, where Wick face a staggering 700 mile round trip.

All ties are to to be played on Saturday September 24.
