CUMNOCK Juniors have announced they've successfully appealed against the two red cards dished out to their players during Saturday's Premier Division clash with Clydebank.
Jamie Wilson was ordered off by referee Ross Menzies midway through the second half of the fiery encounter at Townhead Park.
And substitute Andy McLaughlin was also shown a red card in injury time for what the referee adjudged to be a dangerous tackle on Clydebank number four Matt Niven.
Despite finishing the match two men short, Nock were able to see out the closing moments to hold the Premier Division's leaders to a 1-1 draw.
And manager Murdo MacKinnon, who told the Chronicle after the match that he didn't believe either red card was justified, has been given a boost after the club successfully appealed against both decisions.
The club says Wilson's red card has been reduced to a yellow, while McLaughlin's straight red has been rescinded altogether.

Wilson had given Nock the lead with a spectacular scissor kick in the first five minutes, but Bankies turned up the heat after the break and Ciaran Mulcahy’s header levelled the tie midway through the second half - with Wilson being sent for an early bath within moments of the leveller.
Cumnock could even have won it late on despite being a man down, only for skipper Findlay Frye to see his 88th-minute penalty - another decision MacKinnon said afterwards he didn't agree with - saved by Clydebank keeper Jamie Darroch.
The news of the successful appeal comes as MacKinnon and his players prepare to travel to Bellsdale Park this Saturday, January 27, to take on reigning champions Beith.
Saturday's clash kicks off at 1.30pm.
